Better late than never; let the bios begin: Jim Brockway

Yes, the deadline for sending in your reunion registration has passed, but don't let that stop you. Of course, we needed to set a date to inspire you, but we don't want you to panic if you haven't sent it in.

We will need your information soon, so that we can confirm numbers, especially for Saturday night's dinner-dance and for Dann's golf tournament. So, send it as quickly as you can. We want to see as many classmates as possible, so we remain flexible on this end.

As promised, classmate bios will begin appearing this weekend. Plan to read a few each day as they come in.

This morning's special feature is Jim Brockway who lives in Fairview, Oregon, where he operates a barbershop. Here's what Jim sent us:

After graduating, I attended the University of Idaho for a time. Later, I did contract welding all over the country until I injured my back and was unable to continue that type of work.

I have been self-employed for most of my life. I have a beautiful 25-year-old daughter named Lisa, who also resides in the Portland area.

I remarried in February of 2005. My wife (Sue) and I plan on retiring at the end of this year and explore living in Mexico.
