Tuesday, Feb. 8
Hello,
In the past couple of days, I've heard from Steve Strecker, Caren Hiatt and Charlene Yeakel. The letters must be arriving. I guess the reunion committee will have to meet again soon so we can conjure up some new information to share with you. Again, be sure to scroll down and look at the list of missing students. Maybe you can help us out.
For now, all I can tell you is that Mike Parkins went to Las Vegas to watch the Super Bowl in a special TV room. Haven't heard how his wagering went yet. He's a hard guy to catch up with because that real estate is still selling here in Sandpoint.
Heard from Ruthann Kiebert Nordgaarden and finally learned why she's been so quiet lately. Her computer wasn't working, but it's fixed now.
I have just finished the manuscript for my third book, which is about my teaching career. It will be called Lessons with Love. It does, however, included a tidied-up version of a big noontime story that many classmates of the female gender should remember from our sophomore year of high school. Deals with a restroom down by the boiler room. Anybody remember???? Hint: Claire Sodorff and Pat Strohmaier were involved as inspectors.
I know there are "blurkers" out there---again, the type who read but don't post. Sure would like to hear from you. Have a great Tuesday wherever you are!
Marianne
