Hello
It's been fairly quiet on the classmate front the past few days. I've sent a note to Mike Parkins, suggesting another reunion meeting so that we can get some costs out to you. Maybe, if Mike's willing, we'll meet this next week and send out some more specifics.
On activities for Saturday afternoon, we've come up with Dann's golf tournament at Hidden Lakes, a possible boating outing (no place set yet), a birding tour with Terry Gray, hiking/biking at Schweitzer, and maybe even geocaching up there. I'm sure my husband would happily lead the charges on the geocaching.
If you have other activities to suggest, let me know. We'll just figure out the venues and put out the list for people to choose whatever they wish.
I highly suggest that if you're coming from out of town and haven't been to Sandpoint for a while, allow a few extra days. There's so much to do around here any more that you wouldn't want to shortchange yourselves.
Along with that, however, make sure to nail down accommodations early. The Festival at Sandpoint starts the following Thursday, so the town will begin to fill up.
