Beautiful day in the neighborhood
Happy Friday to all of you. I'm assuming it's going to be another phenomenally beautiful day here in North Idaho. For the past two days, I have walked part of the pedestrian bridge across the lake. Have never had a sunburn in February, but there's a first time for everything. As some folks say, it's been drop-dead gorgeous.
I've lived here 57-plus years and still get goosebumps while breathing in the sheer beauty of this place. And, yes, it's February. A person oughta get goosebumps in North Idaho, but this variety emits from total awe at what God has created as our outdoor living room. Those of you who don't live here have a treat in store this summer when you come for reunion and take in the wonders of your hometown.
To Janis, Lesle, and Sean, I'm not going to see you this week because my mother and I decided to cancel our trip to the Southwest for various reasons.
To Dora (Ragland) Hale, who wrote last night, thanks for your note. Sorry to hear you won't be making it to the reunion, but family is important.
And to Steve Strecker who's trying to run down a few addresses for us, thanks for your help. Tomorrow, I'll stick the list of unknowns up at the top again, and if anyone who has recently checked in for the first time sees a name and knows an address, drop me a line at malove@imbris.net.
Also, if you're wanting a list of the addresses, including several email addresses, I'll be happy to send it to you.
Happy weekend to All Classmates! Marianne
