Maurine asked me to post her email. She's looking forward to hearing from classmates; her email address is listed below.
We are more than loving this experience. We love the people and have learned to appreciate the
freedoms of choices that good Ole America offers to each of us. ( I'll even put up with Michael Moore, as long as the rest of us have equal time to speak our thoughts!)
Well, now before I get too political....I'll send this off.
We will be back in the states early July. Our plans are to go to
Charlotte, NC, where three of our six children and families live (A fourth
is right up the road in VA, about an hour. The other two are not permanent anywhere yet) and buy a new home or have one built. We call Charlotte, the northern Idaho part of North Carolina. We sold our family home in
Fayetteville, so we are currently homeless.
I just wrote a note to myself this a.m. to e-mail Avis asking about class
reunion. Keep me posted. I will be glad to help anyway I
