Cold Blogging Judy Finley Christensen - jchriste@wavecable.com

Marianne is still the same character I met in 1958/59 at Lincoln Elementary - only I enjoy you much more now than I did then, Marianne.

Life is so exciting for me these days. My husband and I began building a small cabin across and up the river from Clark Fork last year. We were so excited that we couldn't wait for the plumbing, insulation and heat. We just "camped out" in the loft and worked on it between the holidays. It was quite cold but we accomplished alot and got out to see the beautiful snowy scenery when some friends from home (Washington State) visited us. Of course they stayed in beautiful downtown Clark Fork since their bedroom isn't finished. Can't wait to hit the lake and tour the mountains back home.

I am counting down my days to retirement, which will coincide with the birth of my first granddaughter and my birthday this year. I know some of you are probably already retired, but I got an early start on child raising and a late start on a career. I love to work and play hard, and can hardly wait until I have more time to do it all

Life is sooooo wonderful as I have also been asked by a niece to be with her during delivery of her first child, probably Tuesday. Her mother, my sister-in-law, passed away from pancreatic cancer 1 1/2 years ago.

There is always so much to talk about over a 40+ year period of one's life. I look forward to more of you joining the bleak Blog to make it the blah-blah-blog.

Thank you, Judy. So nice to have someone take the plunge. And you figured out how to do it. Your posting looks great.
Was I that bad at Lincoln School?
