Merry Christmas to classmates of 1965

Hello, All,

I don't know how often any of you check the blog, but first I must apologize. I don't know what happened to the information about our class that once appeared where the information about me and my books and my profile showed up. I think it may have happened when the Blogger gods made us sign up with New Blogger.

Anyway, it turns out that any blog I do under that address, puts the same information on the side column. After much research, I discovered that the only way I can get rid of it is to delete from my main blog or to delete this entire blog and start it all over with a new G-mail address.

Since I really don't want to do either (cuz I want my personal information to appear on my slight detour blog), it will have to stay until some other solution comes up. Deleting and moving the entire blog to another address is not within my realm of techno knowledge. So, I apologize for the appearance of self-promotion, which was not intended in any way.

Secondly, I want to wish all classmates a Merry Christmas for 2007 and many good times ahead in 2008. We talked about a 45th reunion, and with the turning of the calendar, that isn't far off. Hope everyone made it through the big SIX-0 with no problems---definitely a transition point in life, until 62 and 65 I would guess. Hard to believe our thoughts will soon be turning to Social Security and Medicare. Ouch!

Also, if you're passing through and have not yet discovered the SHS alumni site, please check it out: (www.sandpointhigh.com). It's free and well done. Some members of the classes of 1992 and 1993 set it up in 2006, and it has nearly 1,000 alums signed up, several from our class. One pleasant surprise was Sherry Davis who signed up about a month ago.

I'd like to send out a note to get this site revived and going again as we look ahead to 2010 and another gathering. Maybe we can get ahead of the game for a change. So, if you have news, send it to my email address, and I'll see that it gets posted.

Again, have a wonderful Christmas and stay healthy.

Marianne
